Blue Kettle Specialty Foods Ltd. began with the idea that gourmet food doesn’t have to take a lot of time. When Blue Kettle founders Marcy and Carol set up their first booth at the St. Albert Farmers Market in 2000, they arrived with a few jars of salsa, pasta sauce, chili base and decades of cooking experience with the notion that gourmet meals can be conveniently enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. At Blue Kettle, we believe that life is too short to settle for ‘average’ big-brand foods.

22+ years after opening our doors, Blue Kettle now offers 13 versatile food products. You’ll still find us at seasonal craft shows and markets, but now that we call home a full-fledged production facility in St. Albert, Alberta, we’re able to supply the homes of busy household chefs Alberta-wide. From savoury dips, appetizers and vinaigrettes, to hearty meal starters and a delectable chocolate sauce, the goal remains the same: creating innovative foods that will jumpstart or add full-bodied flavour to a variety of dishes in minutes. We work tirelessly behind the scenes so when you come home, an extraordinary meal is only minutes away.
